Palau

Palau, officially the Republic of Palau, is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean, some 500 miles (800 km) east of the Philippines and sometimes referred to in English under its native name as Belau. This coral reef started to take shape a couple of million years ago. Palau is the final word in underwater wonderlands. It also exhibits Micronesia's richest ecology, both on land and underneath the waves and far to the southwest Palau consists of an archipelago of 343 islands, spread north to south over 100 miles form the coral island of Kayangel to the island of Angaur in addition to five tiny islands, known as the southwest islands.
Palau has over eighty land locked marine lakes which sustains rare jelly fishes, anemones and soft corals and manta rays, barracuda, sharks and giant clams. Large pelagic predators, sharks, turtles, dolphins and many species of migratory fish gather here at this exclusive intersection of three of the world's major ocean currents. Blue holes, huge caves and an enormous variety of rare and exotic marine species are visible through clear water exceeding 200 feet. Legendary sites such as The Blue Corner, Ngmelis Drop-off, Blue Hole of Palau offers the most amazing diving spots on this planet.

The famous "Rock Islands" of Palau are a collection of rounded, foliage-covered islands which seem to float above the surface of the water. A boat trip through them will reveal a number of beautiful white sand beaches hideaways ideal for an isolated private picnic or spending an adventurous night! Below the water's surface, divers are guided to a different colourful paradise of marvelous drop-offs, blue holes, spellbinding and stunning reefs, crystal caves and World War II wrecks.
For diversified and eternal beauty it seems like the seventh heaven. Palau was named the Number One Underwater Wonder of the World by CEDAM -- a group of marine scientists and conservationists

Allwondersoftheworld.com portrays the magnificent beauty of Palau which offers a wealth of marine life and bio diversity and a treat to the beholder's eyes.
