Climatic conditions in Galapagos Islands

The Galapagos Islands is situated near Ecuador. The climatic condition across the Island varies depending on the different times of the year. In January Galapagos Islands experiences a rainy weather and the warm season continues till May. Best under water visibility is possible till March from the month of January.The average maximum and minimum temperature for the month of January is 30C and 22C respectively. The climatic condition in February remains somewhat similar to that of January with the maximum and minimum temperature of February reading 30C and 24C respectively.

The rainy season reaches its peak in the month of March with the Island experiencing sporadic tropical with hot climate accompanied by intense sun. The maximum and minimum temperature during this month reads 31C and 24C respectively. The month of April experiences somewhat similar temperature as the month of March.The month of May and June marks the beginning of the Garua season which is a cool and dry season which remains so till the month of December.
The maximum and minimum temperature respectively in the month of May is 28C and 22C. The maximum and minimum temperature for the month of June is 26C and 21C respectively. The windiest months experienced on this Island are July and August. The maximum and minimum temperature for the month of July is 26C and 20C respectively. For the month of August the maximum temperature reads 26C and the minimum temperature is 19C. The presence of strong ocean currents is felt across the Island in the month of September and October. The Humboldt Current is the strongest on the Island during the months of September and October.

The maximum temperature for the month of September is 26C and the minimum temperature is 19C. October records a maximum temperature of 26C and a minimum of 20C. The climatic condition in the month of November is somewhat similar to that of September and October. The maximum temperature for the month of November is 26C while the minimum temperature reads 21C. The month of December marks the beginning of the warm season in this Island with a maximum temperature of 27C and a minimum temperature of 22C.
