What made the Tower such a pleasant treat for the eyes is the amazing white porcelain bricks that faced the tower.
These white porcelain bricks glittered in the sun during the day time and at night they were lit up by as many as 140 lamps hanging around the exterior of the Porcelain Tower. Colorful stoneware tiles with green, yellow, white, and brown glazes forming images of animals, landscapes, flowers, and bamboo were ingrained into the Porcelain tower.
