Images of Eiffel Tower in Paris

Eiffel Tower was constructed for the 1889's International exhibition of Paris, immortalizing the completion of hundred years of French Revolution. The design put forward by Gustave Eiffel was selected among the 700 propositions. Eiffel Tower was inaugurated by Prince of Wales. Weighing about 7000 tons with a length of about 300 meters, the Eiffel Tower was the tallest building in the world till 1930. At present it is about 320 meters tall along with its TV antennas.
