There exists long hard winter with snow lying on the ground for the time period between November till the end of April in Eastern Anatolia and South-eastern Anatolia. The average temperature reads -13C in winter and 17C in summer. The best season to make a trip to Turkey would be the spring and fall seasons, although the tourist high season is generally marked as the period starting from mid-June through mid-September. The sky is generally clear during this time of the year and one can expect mild to warm temperature during this time accompanied by some rain.
